I have an ant invation at home, and the pest control guy isn't out until Saturday. This means Adam and the antz must be fought hand to hand for the next four days. I love the smell of Raid in the morning.

Ants are difficult to fight. They are very organized.
I bought a gallon of Ortho's home defense and sprayed the john_clarke crib myself, inside and out. Ants and roaches didn't stand a chance, and shouldn't for the next six months. And it cost me $12 --- a lot cheaper than the $50 I'd pay an exterminator on a good day. You can get home defense at Target.
Good call, but I have Termite swarms, so we have to push the button
put apple jelly out on some sticky tape, then when it draws out the ants have the motel there waiting. they are orgnized, but not very smart.
we use viper, from the feed store. it is $6.00 and no roaches here.
i do have ants in the kids window facing. am too scared to put anything in there though. its the freakin kids room. they prob stuffed cookies or something in the window. the kids, not the ants!
